About Me
Learn more about me, my qualifications and expertise and how I can help you to reach your life and career goals.
My mission
To make sure that I’m making the most of my life, I regularly ask myself: “If I died tomorrow, would I be satisfied with who I am and what I have done?”
Celebrating the ‘Yeses’ and working on the ‘No’s’, has allowed me to grow and overcome my life challenges, achieve my objectives and create a very fulfilling personal and professional life.
My mission is to help others make the most of their lives too. I have dedicated my life to deepening my understanding of people and how to support their goals and wellbeing through extensive study, higher education, and ongoing training.
My background
I hold a Doctorate in Counselling and Psychotherapy (PsychD) from Surrey University and an honours degree in Psychology (BSc) from Bath University in England. In addition, I am a certified Executive Coach with two master level courses in counselling from Harvard Graduate School. I am also trained in Nutrition Science (Stanford Medical School), and Managing Happiness (Harvard Online), among other qualifications.
In my previous roles, I worked as a counsellor and psychotherapist in three NHS hospitals in England. There, I assisted individuals of all ages with various challenges such as grief, health problems, trauma, stress, anxiety, lack of self-confidence, and relationship issues.
As a senior consultant and client manager at global leadership strategy consultancy YSC Consulting (now Accenture), I helped multinational and Private Equity clients select and develop high-potential and senior leaders. I supported clients in improving performance amidst strategic change, organisational growth, and mergers and acquisitions. Through coaching, I equipped and supported leaders in: decision-making, communication, strategic thinking, conflict resolution, and team management. Similarly, we explored their values, strengths, and blind spots to understand their leadership style and impact on their teams and organisation.
My perspective
I come from a well-travelled, international family that treasures cultural diversity. I have also lived in several countries, so I know firsthand how diverse beliefs, habits, and contexts shape our experiences. Increasing our cultural awareness and questioning our assumptions about how to live and what is possible can significantly enrich and improve our mindset and quality of life.
My background, experiences and work with clients have taught me that we are more resilient and capable than we believe. No matter our beginnings or circumstances, there is always something we can do to make our life better and more meaningful.
Why I coach
Through my own experiences with coaching and therapy during life events, I learned that, while we cannot control everything, personal development can significantly enhance the quality of our life. We just need the right motivation, support and strategies. It was this that made me want to guide others towards such powerful transformational experiences of their own.
I enjoy empowering others to live more intentional and fuller lives. Through life and career coaching, I teach them the skills, behaviors, attitudes and strategies proven to enhance happiness, resilience, and purpose.
